Can I download the yahoo toolbar without the Norton trial software?

Yes, look at the setup options and uncheck the Norton box. You may have to select custom install.

You can down load it but if you have another protection you have to remove the prior one in order to get the free trial If it trys to run all you do is not except and it will keep the old one. I have the tool bar. In fact I just downloaded it two days ago. The old one is not just a trial one. and it is free. I have avg. virus free. You don’t need to except that one or you will have to buy it after the trial time. Go for it. You can download and just keep the virus protection that you have.

you might have updated the yahoo toolbar. The new yahoo toolbar doesn’t have the usual yahoo anti-spy, but has the Norton Antispy. You can download it. Norton Anti spy is completely free, and donot confuse it with Norton security 30 day trial.( Dont install security trial, but norton antispy alone doesnt matter) Norton Security trial installation is optional and u can enjoy Norton antispy without installing the trial version . They will a give u two links in the sites, one with Norton Antispy and other with Norton Security Suite trial ( ) Download the one without Norton Internet Security.

u can download the Yahoo toolbar with the old anti-spy from , bcoz it is not available in yahoo site now, they changed it 2 norton antispy( First uninstall norton antispy from add-remove programs)

Or if u really want 2 use both Norton Antispy and yahoo antispy, try downloading Mozilla Firefox.Latest Yahoo toolbar for mozilla firefox include the yahoo antispy, not norton. Latest Yahoo toolbar for Internet explorer include Norton antispy, which is gud, but takes more time in scanning.

hi, perhaps you can try firefox and google toolbar. which maybe more powerful and easy to use.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so it run faster than IE.
